Matthew is an accomplished entrepreneur, businessman and volunteer who’s lifelong pursuit of knowledge has helped him succeed in numerous business sectors including Consulting, Entertainment, Manufacturing, Human Resources, Creative Problem Solving, Theater, Retail, and Restaurant management.  He was honored to be a featured speaker at TEDx Buffalo 2012 and has been speaking to school and business groups for years on a wide range of topics.

He believes in empowering people by giving them the creative and intellectual space needed combined with just the right touch of accountability and advice to help the individual and company be successful.

As the current Chief Operations Officer at local retailer, Oogie Games, Matthew has helped transform this little shop into a retail powerhouse. Since joining the company in 2010 as its’ sixth employee, Oogie Games has grown to 6 locations and 35 employees and over 1000% growth. He has shaped policies, introduced new revenue streams and created a strong, highly defined brand.

Giving back to the community was a important lesson learned at a young age from his parents. Matthew currently serves on the board as the Secretary of the Lancaster Community Development Corp, as a trustee of St. Mary’s High School, as a Lancaster Youth Bureau Foundation board member and on the NxtArrow Business Incubator advisory board. He was chosen in 2011 by Business First Newspaper as a 40 under 40 business leader, and inducted into the Lancaster Youth Bureau Hall of Fame both as a youth and adult for his community service.
